It has been a most interesting year that has gone by. Much has been learned, much has transpired, and yet so much is still out there yet to be discovered or created.

New Year's resolutions are not all that interesting to me. I focus more on resolutions and growth, period. Throughout the year, not just during the month of January, or halfway into Febuary. Come August, I'm still coming up with new projects to tackle, and new knowledge to put to use.

Lately, I seem to have fallen into a mood of reflection. Passing different moments through my head from years past, and reviewing them like short films. Sometimes savoring the beautiful moments you wish could have lasted forever. Sometimes remember the moments you wish you could not remember, hoping they never repeat themselves again. Inevitably we repeat them both, forget them all, and remember some very few.

On the other hand, there is still a sense of looking forward. Of waiting, for the next thing. What it is, we'll never know till it comes, but we sit around and gaze into the distance imagining... with a twinkle in our eye, and a dimple in our cheek, we'll imagine a vision of hope.
